January is one of the quietest months in Puglia, spent concentrating on work and study after the festive season’s celebrations. Many restaurants and coffè bars take some holidays after the New Year holidays. The holiday season normally finish on January 7th, unless there is a long week end around.
There are still plenty of sunny days to be enjoyed with average daytime temperatures reaching up to 12 ̊C. However rain is fairly frequent with an average of 10 days with some rain over the month. From evening to morning the humidity is quite high.
