Puglia boasts some of the best-furnished beaches in Italy. It would be a real shame not to visit them due to fears related to the Coronavirus. But don’t worry, the Apulian beach clubs are equipped for this and can be visited in complete safety.
In Italy, since June 2020, the government has drawn up the anti-covid rules to be respected for the beach clubs. The goal is to ensure the execution of the business while guaranteeing the health protection of workers and customers.
First of all, the beach clubs must have information signs, in multiple languages, for the dissemination of anti-Covid safety regulations. They must be positioned at the entrances, changing rooms, the cash desk, and common areas. Of course, there must be sanitizing solutions for customers and positioned in the most frequented points such as entrances and checkouts.
To allow limited access to the beach clubs, reservations are recommended. We, therefore, recommend you always to call in advance to book your umbrella and sunbed on the beach. For support please contact your local concierge.
Distance between slots
To ensure correct social distance on the beach, the minimum recommended distance between the rows of umbrellas is five meters and between the umbrellas in the same row, four and a half meters. The contact surfaces will be sanitized before being assigned to another customer, even during the same day.
It is forbidden to play group games and use the swimming pools
It is forbidden to practice recreational and sporting activities that can bring to gatherings of people and group games. For the same reason, it is forbidden the use of swimming pools that may be present inside the beach club.
