I/ Choosing your villa

1. Who can give me information about the villas I’m interested in?

Just get in touch wish us and we will help you to choose the most suitable villa for your holidays in Puglia. We are from Puglia and love our region. Therefore you will feel our passion when talking with us about our properties. However we encourage you to have a look to our villa collection where professional pictures and other media contents are available to give a clear idea about what you can expect.

2. What is the maximum capacity of your villas?

For each villa the maximum capacity is clearly stated on the villa gallery and in the villa description page. It is the maximum number of persons that can stay in the home, considering both beds and sleeper sofas. The stated number includes children and infants.

3. Where can I check prices and availability?

Prices and availability for each individual villa are shown in the villa description page. Simply click on the “Price and Availability” button and select your preferred arrival and departure dates; you will then get the total price.

4. Once I decide the villa how do I complete my booking?

5. Can we arrive and depart at any day during the week?

For most of our villas we are very flexible in terms of check-in and check-out days.

6. Are your villas safe for children?

All our vacation villas as are perfect for families with children. They have been tested by numerous families with children. However swimming pools by their nature carry their own inherent risks. Therefore you must ensure that you and all members of your party take great care when using or being near your swimming pool. When using the pool, children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

7. Are your villas suitable for guests with limited mobility or disabilities?

We take accessibility very seriously, and believe that limited mobility or disability should not be a restriction when on holiday. However, every vacation villa in our portfolio is different and some are better suited for guests with mobility impairments than others. We encourage you to contact us for a deep evaluation of your need and the most suitable solution for your stay.

8. Do you only arrange accommodation?

No, we do arrange a series of optional services to make your experience special. Optional services are showed in the “List of facilities” tab you find in the villa description page.

II/ What’s included and excluded

For complete information about facilities and amenities please see each villa description page.

1.Is electricity included?

Electricity is always included in the rental price. We do ask Guests to use electrical appliances and lighting in a responsible and ecological manner.

2. Is gas included?

Unless stated differently gas is included in the rental price. Occasionally and for special offers we might exclude the gas, in that case it will clearly be stated.

3. Is water included?

Yes, water is included in the rental price. We do ask Guests to use the water in a responsible and ecological manner.

4. Is cleaning included?

Final cleaning are always included. For stay longer than 9 nights intermediate cleanings are also included. Weather weekly cleaning or final cleaning is included in the rental price is specified in the list of features of each villa.

5. Is heating included?

Unless stated differently heating is included in the rental price. Occasionally and for special offers we might exclude the heating, in that case it will clearly be stated.

6. May I request additional cleaning?

Yes, you can request extra-cleaning with a small extra fee of 15€ per hour for home cleaning and of 40€ for pool cleaning. Extra-charge must be paid locally.

7. Are linen and towels provided?

Yes. On arrival you will find all the beds made up and towels for all your party. There will also be pool towels and beach towels for your use.

8. How often are linen and towels changed?

Linen and towels are not replaced during your stay unless intermediate cleanings are included.
You may request at any time extra change with a small fee of 50€ to be paylocally.

9. Is there a washing machine?

Yes, all our villas are equipped with washing machine.

10. Is there an iron and ironing board at my vacation home?

The vast majority of our villas have iron and iron board. Please check the list of amenities and features of each villa make sure or let us know.

11. Is there an Internet access?

All our villas have free Wi-fi internet access for Guests. Because most villas are located in isolated area, the internet speed can be lower than what we expect in cities and towns.

12. How often will my villa be cleaned during my stay?

For all our villas the final cleaning are always included. For stay longer than 9 nights intermediate cleanings are also included. Please check the list of amenities and features of each villa to see your specific case.
In any case you can request extra-cleaning with a small extra fee of 15€ per hour for house cleaning. Extra-charge must be paid locally.

13. Is it possible to have a cook at our holiday villa?

Yes, in all our villas we will be happy to arrange a chef coming and preparing special meal for you. Please contact us for more information.

14. Can you organise a special dinner party and some live music to celebrate a special family event?

Of course we can. We will be glad to arrange something special for you. Just let us know as soon as possible.

15. Which additional services can you provide us?

In the amenities page of each villa you can find the list of optional services we can provide you. As an example, we can provide:

  • Pre-stoking service with products indicated by you one week before arrival
  • Pre-stoking service with selected Puglia doc wines
  • Bike rental
  • Daily maid service
  • Pool cleaning
  • Cooking courses
  • Babysitting & child services
  • Massage
  • Guides to historic towns or archaeological sites
  • Laundry
  • Ironing service

III/ Check-in & check-out

1.How will I find my vacation home?

Before you leave we will provide you the detailed directions of how to get to your vacation home. This will include the GPS coordinates you can set on your smartphone or GPS system to reach the entrance without any trouble.

2. Who will I meet at the arrival?

At your arrival you will be welcomed by the Property Manager or by the Owner. They will give you a quick introduction to the house and leave you the keys.
Only for few properties at the arrival you will find the key in an outdoor safe that you can open with the code provided by us. This will speed-up your check-in In those cases we will definitely contact you and visit you as soon as possible to welcome you personally.

3. When can I check in?

Check-in is possible from 16.00 on the first day of your stay. We ask you to provide your flight details so that we can make sure someone will be at the villa to welcome you at an agreed time. Should you be delayed on the day of arrival, please inform your PugliaParadise’s Customer specialist.

4. What happens if my flight is delayed?

Just call your Customer specialist.

5. When do I have to check out by?

Standard check-out time is by 10.00am. It is not generally possible to check-out after this time as the house needs to be cleaned and prepared thoroughly for the arrival of other guests. If there are no other guests arriving that day it may be possible to extend check-out time by a couple of hours but this needs to be checked and confirmed by us case by case.

6. I’m arriving late or I will be tired at the arrival. What can I eat?

In the vast majority of our vacation homes you will find a “Welcome Pack” with a selection of local products but not enough for a meal. However we can provide you the pre-stoking service with products indicated by you one week before arrival. This is an optional service we provide with a small extra-cost.

7. How many sets of keys will I get?

This depends on the size of the house and the number of people in your group. Generally you will get one set of keys for every 5 people.

IV/ Support during your stay

1. Who do I contact if I have any doubts or a problem during my stay?

Before your arrival one of the PugliaParadise’s Customer specialists will be appointed to be your contact person during your stay. He/she will be available 24/7 for any help or clarification you might need. He/she will contact you before your arrival so that you have his/her phone number. Feel free to contact him/her via phone, SMS or Whatsapp.

V/ Transportation

1. Do we need to rent a car?

We strongly recommend you rent a car. In fact the vast majority of our vacation homes are not easily accessible by any other means.
The car is also very useful if you are intending to tour around as public transport is often not available. If you prefer not to drive, we can arrange you private transportation.

2. Do you arrange flights or car hire?

We do not arrange flights or car hire. We leave this task to real specialists as we are in the vacation home selection and management.
However we can definitely help you choosing the best alternatives.

3. Where can we fly to/from?

Puglia has two international airports:

  • Bari Airport named “Karol Wojtyła”, airport code BRI
  • Brindisi Airport named “Papola – Casale”, airport code BDS

There are dozens of direct flights from all over Europe.

4. What’s driving in Puglia like?

Driving in Puglia is much easier than in many other regions of Italy. In the larger cities, such as Bari, driving can sometimes be a little challenging, as in most large, busy cities around the world. But it is not dangerous as the speed is never fast enough to be so.
In the smaller towns and when travelling around Puglia driving is relatively stress free!

VI/ General questions

1. Should I take out travel insurance for my holiday?

Although it not strictly required by us, we do recommend you take out adequate travel insurance for every member of your party.

2. What is the voltage in Italy? Should we bring adaptors or something?

Electricity in Italy is 220V. If you have an appliance which only works at 110V you should bring a voltage converter with you as they are difficult to find in Italy.
In every vacation homes managed by Puglia Paradise you will find a universal plug adaptor as Italy’s sockets are designed for 2 round-pronged plugs.

3. We were planning on bringing some DVDs from America. Will they work on European DVD players?

Probably not, unfortunately. American DVD players and discs are “Region 1”, while Italian ones are “Region 2”, making them incompatible.

4. Will my cell phone work in Europe?

If you have a smartphone, it also works in Italy. We recommend you talk to your network provided or local cellphone retailer before your departure in order to get information on the cheapest way to use you phone in Italy.

5. Can I smoke in the villa?

Smoking is not permitted in our villas. Smokers are politely requested to take their hobby outside.

6. Do your villas accept pets?

For the majority of our vacation homes pets are accepted. Please check the amenities table of each propriety for confirmation. In any case please contact us if you are thinking of travelling with your pet.

7. Is there any extra-cost if I travel with my pet?

Yes, in case you bring your pet in a vacation home where pet are accepted, you will be charged on site an extra-price of 50€ for a special final cleaning. This extra-cost is on top of the standard final cleaning.
