We had a fantastic time staying here. The villa is small, beautiful and in a quiet rural location, but still within short driving distance of towns like Aberobello and Martina Franca. There are number of restaurants within 5 minutes drive, all listed in the villa information pack. Puglia Paradise were very prompt at answering any queries we had and the support given by Grazia was first class and very much appreciated. The pool area is very clean, private and catches the sun all day. The pool is a good size and immaculately kept. In all we throughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back to Puglia.

We stayed 6 nights at Trullo Bianco and the experience far exceeded our expectations, it was idyllic. The accommodation is comfortable & clean. The house & pool are set in a huge garden in the countryside, it is very peaceful & relaxing. The location was perfect as a base from which to explore all of Puglia. After a day sightseeing we returned to spend time by the pool – a perfect end to the day. The owner gave us delicious produce from her garden which was very thoughtful.

Leandro the property manager made the process of checking in easy, he was always quick to respond to any questions & provided us with sightseeing tips. I highly recommend Trullo Bianco to anyone visiting Puglia.

I stayed with friends at Villa Margareta just outside of Ostuni in Puglia. The villa was extraordinary. Incredible views over olive groves, stunning building and furnishings of the highest quality. Areas to relax in every area of the house – by the pool, by the woodfire oven, on the roof, outdoor terrace. There is even a bocce court! We were four people with our own double rooms and bathrooms. Massimo, our host was super helpful, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful week at Trullo Stefano, many thanks to Puglia Paradise. Grazia was a superb contact for us throughout the week. We are a family of 5 and it was our first time in Italy together, and we didn’t know Puglia very well. Grazia offered us many recommendations for daytrips, eateries etc., all of which were just perfect. The trullo itself was complete and utter secluded paradise (as advertised).

The pool was an amazing size, the trullo was really well appointed and we were delighted to arrive to a welcome pack of food and drink, plus a leaflet with lots of useful info and GPS coordinates. We would definitely visit again and would very much recommend Puglia Paradise.

We loved our time in Alberobello and especially our stay in a trullo. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked some great alfresco dinners. The pool was a nice extra, very refreshing after a day of site seeing. We were able to easily visit Ostuni, Locorotondo, Matera, Bari, Lecce, and of course Alberobello. The alimentary deli was great. We loved our cooking class in Sqinzano and so did our husbands.

It was a wonderful experience and a pleasant stay,. Thanx to Grazia for all the help getting settled and help with dinner reservations. I would say that Puglia is not to be missed. It is a lesser known gem of Italy.

In the weeks leading up to the stay we were contacted by Puglia Paradise and made to feel confident that we were in very safe hands. We were greeted promptly and shown to the property, which absolutely blew us away at first glance. Set amidst olive groves and fig/cherry orchards, our beautiful trullo was the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comforts. The pool was a superb size (and temperature) and pizza oven room / games room a novel bonus.

We are a family of 5 (3 kids under 5) and had been concerned about whether the property would be safe/suitable for our youngsters but it was perfect (can also imagine returning with friends for a very different experience!). The house itself was excellently equipped, including a welcome pack of local wine, preserves, pasta and fruit, plus the basics of bread and milk to help us settle quickly into our stay – such a nice touch). We contacted Puglia Paradise throughout the week with any queries, which was no problem to them at all. Grazia (Puglia Paradise) gave us some excellent beach, daytrip and dining recommendations, all of which were just right for us and our needs. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The location is the perfect one for exploring the whole region, with Pescoluse “the Maldives of Puglia” a 1h30 drive away (this was the longest distance covered but was a very straightforward journey and totally worth it). Much nearer to home we visited Polignano a Mare for dramatic cliff-top views and great food, Torre Guaceto to watch locals diving for sea urchins, Lido Stefano just south of Monopoli. Nearest shops had everything we needed (we travelled either 5 mins to San Marco or 10 mins to Locorotondo). The neighbours were LOVELY – the kids were given bowls of cherries / tours around farms / lots of hugs and kisses! Food (as expected) was out of this world – so simple yet delicious. We were able to live very frugally and yet it felt like total luxury. We flew into/out of Bari, which was a 50 minute drive. We would (and hopefully will) definitely return to this property, which has clearly been constructed and marketed with a great deal of love and attention to detail. Thank you.

We have rented a number of villas over the last 10 years and can honestly say this was one of the best. The modern style, the beautiful accommodations, the sea view, the pool, the services offered by the management company Puglia Paradise – all made for a wonderful week. We were 4 couples and we all loved it. Each bedroom was an ensuite and the beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Even when we had an issue with the a/c Massimo responded with a fix within an hour. If you go, be sure and book the pizza making class. It was so much fun and the pizzas cooked in the wood fired oven there were delicious.

Stay and fall in love with the truly wonderful Trullo Badessa. We arrived up a quiet country lane to a warm welcome with a care pack of food, water and wine, thank you! Trullo Badessa is just as the pictures show it; beautiful, immaculate, traditional and the restoration is stunning. All rooms and the kitchen are large and comfortable, so with two bathrooms and it being very well equipped with brilliant wifi for searching trips and localities, it’s a true home from home but better!

The grounds, bbq, outdoor dining, pool and loungers serve perfectly for a full days’ & nights’ relaxing. (We stayed all day on Sunday and then went into Alberobello at 5pm which worked well as it was much quieter and more Italian! We also had a couple evenings of outdoor dining at the trullo!) You really could live here! The views are breath-taking. Completely surrounded by idyllic countryside, not overlooked and so utterly peaceful. If you wanted to you could spend days just walking or cycling on well-marked paths and empty lanes or ride in nearby stables; the surroundings are so quiet you might not pass another car or see another person! Yet it is perfectly located for the Valle d’Itria and the towns within this beautiful area. Travelling out for less than an hour away to Castellana caves, Matera, Ostuni, Bari, Taranto etc. Alberobello is minutes away as is Martina Franca and country eateries, vin yards and olive farms. Fully supported by local, extraordinarily helpful staff, (thank you so much!) We would say the trullo is suitable for any age and ability, families, singles, couples and anyone who wants total escapism and/or to explore this wonderful part of Italy! It’s so lovely you won’t want to leave; we didn’t! This really is a perfect place to stay in this wonderful part of Puglia! Fantastico! Grazie Mille!
